The service
VirtueTailor is software for tailors, boutiques and every stitching business, provided by Virtue Tailor India Private Limited. By creating an account or using the apps you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and give true details.
- Keep your password secret; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- A business owner is responsible for the staff accounts they create and the permissions they give.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, with GST. A plan's features and limits are those shown when you buy or renew. If a plan is not paid, we may limit the account after notice. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Your data and your customers' data
Your business owns its data. You are the Data Fiduciary for your customers' personal data and must give them notice and obtain their consent; VirtueTailor gives you the tools to do so and processes that data only for you, under the Data Processing Terms. You can export your data at any time.
When you add a customer, you confirm that the customer has been told how their details are used and has agreed, or you send them the notice to agree on their own phone. You also record whether the customer agrees to receive WhatsApp updates, and send them only if they have agreed. A customer may change either choice at any time.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful, infringing, obscene, defamatory or misleading content.
- No attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or to access another business's data.
- No sending of unsolicited messages to people who have not agreed to them.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and will act on lawful orders and complaints as required by the IT Rules, 2021.
Discover
Businesses listed on Discover are independent sellers responsible for their own services, prices, quality and delivery. VirtueTailor is an intermediary and shows each business's name, address and contact so you know whom you deal with.
Liability
We work to keep VirtueTailor available and accurate, but provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the business paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction. Please raise any complaint with the Grievance Officer first.
